Google Flight Search Launched

After fighting regulatory process & the competitors are trying to stop the deal, finally Google was able to get ITA Software earlier this year, and now today, Google has finally announced flight search which is based on the technology it acquired.
Users when search for flight info on Google, they will now see a “Flights” link on the left panel, leading to the Google’s new Flight Search factor. It can also be directly accessed at google.com/flights.
Google says that users will be able to see quickly that which travel dates are cheaper by dragging the date selector forward or backward, or look at the bar chart to compare various dates at the same time. In addition, you can view and filter elements of the airline, the flight time an price.
Technical director Kourosh Gharachorloo says, “The flights are selected primarily based on the cost & total travel time, while covering a wide range of departure times and airlines,”. “We automatically filters to focus on the choice that are reasonable in price and duration both, and you can always adjust the display filters for even more flights.”
Google says it will be working hard to improve the number of cities and types of flights. Initially, users will see only a limited number of cities and the results of the return economy class flights.
